Instructions

1. Turn the Instant Pot to the sauté setting. Add the olive oil and the sausage slices. Cook until the sausage is lightly browned, about five minutes.

2. Add the bell peppers, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about three minutes.

3. Add the chicken broth and tomato sauce. Stir to combine.

4. Secure the lid on the Instant Pot. Turn the valve to sealing. Set the Instant Pot to high pressure for five minutes.

5. When the cooking time is complete, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release the remaining pressure.

6. When the pressure is released, carefully remove the lid. Give the sausage and peppers a stir. Serve and enjoy!
