Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Place the chicken breasts in the Instant Pot and add the onion, garlic, chicken broth, ranch dressing, parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper. Stir to combine.

2. Secure the lid and set the valve to sealing. Select Manual/Pressure Cook and set the timer for 10 minutes.

3. When the cooking time is complete, quick-release the pressure and open the lid. Carefully transfer the chicken to a plate.

4. Return the pot to the heat and select the sauté setting. Bring the sauce to a simmer, stirring frequently. Simmer the sauce until it has thickened slightly, about 2-3 minutes.

5. Return the chicken to the pot and stir to combine. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top and stir to combine.

6. Serve the chicken with the sauce over noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes.
