Recipe Tips

For an extra cheesy mac and cheese, use sharp cheddar cheese. You can also add a bit of Parmesan cheese for an extra cheesy flavor. If you like your mac and cheese creamy, use whole milk instead of the 2% recommended in the recipe. To make the mac and cheese even more flavorful, add some cooked bacon or diced cooked ham. You can also add some cooked vegetables like broccoli, peas, or spinach. For a little bit of heat, add some diced jalapenos or a dash of hot sauce. For a crunchy topping, add some crushed potato chips or panko breadcrumbs.
