Instant Pot Chili Mac

This chili mac is an easy and delicious weeknight meal that is sure to please the entire family. It is a combination of ground beef, beans, tomato sauce, and macaroni noodles all cooked together in your instant pot to make a hearty and flavorful meal.

Ingredients:

-1 lb ground beef
-1 onion, diced
-2 cloves garlic, minced
-1 tsp chili powder
-1/2 tsp cumin
-1/2 tsp oregano
-1 can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
-1 can diced tomatoes
-1/2 cup tomato sauce
-2 cups macaroni noodles, uncooked
-1 cup beef broth
-Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

1. Turn your instant pot on and select the “saute” setting. Add the ground beef, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, and oregano. Cook for 5 minutes, until the ground beef is cooked through.

2. Add the beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, macaroni noodles, and beef broth. Stir to combine.

3. Place the lid on the instant pot, seal the valve and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.

4. When the cook time is finished, carefully do a quick release of the pressure.

5. Remove the lid and stir the chili mac. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
